Stonefly! This is very encouraging because stoneflies are very sensitive indicators of water quality. If you have stoneflies (and we had them in profusion on Massapoag brook), the water is pretty decent.

I was working from home, and this Salticid was nice enough to come by and give me some company.
His name is Duke. This was a large stately grass spider we found in our basement, and he very graciously posed for some closeup photographs. The genus is Agelenopsis.
